Role and responsibilities of Mentors

• Providing aid in academic and non-academic situations.
• Implementing improvement exam for students who were unable to attempt the exam and the failing students.
• Weak students are given extra attention in order to improve their performance, also they are allowed to sit in the library from 4-5pm and utilize the library facilities.
• Regularly contacting the parents if their wards are absent to remind the importance of attendance.
• Compensation duty in hospital to balance the shortage in attendance of students whose attendance were below 80%.
• Solving any issues concerning to students.
• Two teaching faculties and warden readily available for any problems faced in hostel premises.
• Supporting the students emotionally, and psychologically.
• Guiding the students to the right path and direction and counsel them in cases of any inappropriate behaviour.
• Students are continuously trained about punctuality, professionalism, and sincerity.
• Meeting the students individually and in groups to inquire about the academic process.
• Parents-teachers meeting is conducted after every terminal examination to communicate the progress of their wards.
• Each mentor takes up the responsibility of 30 students.
