Disciplinary Committee

Objectives

• To ensure maintenance of discipline in the campus, college premises, classrooms as well as in the hospital.
• To achieve the goal of creating a safe, motivating and accepting college environment by supporting the use of positive attitudes and practices.
• To uptake measures for inappropriate behavior.

Disciplinary Committee Policy

• Make surprise raids on hostels and other places vulnerable to incidents and having the potential of violation of disciplinary rules and regulations and submit report to the committee.
• The disciplinary Committee depending on the nature and gravity of the guilt, established by the disciplinary Squad, will award, to those found guilty, one or more of the following punishments:

a. Suspension from attending classes/ Cancellation of attendance.
b. Withholding/ withdrawing scholarship/ fellowship and other benefits.
c. Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation process.
d. Withholding results.
e. Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national, or international meet tournament, youth festival, etc.
f. Suspension/ expulsion from the hostel/ college.
g. Cancellation of admission.
h. Rustication from the institution for a specified period.
i. Fine up to Rupees 5,000/- only.
