Library

The college has excellent library facilities. The spacious and well-equipped library boasts of a voluminous collection of all the latest edition books and International and National Journals which are available. The library has been provided with Internet facility for students and the faculty have open access to this facility.

Audio Visual Aids Room (A.V. Aids)

The college has an audio-visual room to help students enhance their skills. The audio visual room is equipped with latest projectors and devices to aid in the process.

Lecture Halls

The college has sufficient and spacious lecture halls for each batch. The halls are well ventilated and well-spaced out. Each lecture hall has the facility to use latest Audio-Visual teaching aids, adding to the congenial surroundings, to initiate concentration of students.

Accommodation

The institute provide hostel facility for the students. The institute reserves the right to select the applications of the students on the basis of specific eligibility criteria. The hostel has twenty- four hours security and vigilance.

Workshops and Seminars

The college ensures that regular seminars and workshops are conducted for the students to understand the topic in a more practical manner. With the advancement in medical sciences, it is absolutely essential that the students get a hands-on approach to the topics.

Counselling Cell of the institute helps the fresher students in coping with the new environment. The students are also given guidance in relation to placement and various career opportunities.

The students are not only limited to bookish knowledge or theoretical learning but also get an opportunity to go for Tours and Excursions. Some of the areas visited by students are Parag Dairy, Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Plant and Water Purification Plant (Nagar Nigam).

Sports & Cultural Events

We at Regency Institute of Nursing aim to undertake co-curricular activities such as Sports and Cultural Events in order to encourage team building abilities, leadership qualities as well as creative skills.

Teaching Methodology & Clinical Trainings

Teaching methodology has been designed in such a manner so as to inculcate conceptual and technical skills in students and is broadly based on lectures, demonstrations, workshops and seminars, group discussions, practical training on patients etc. Efforts have been made to impart not only theoretical knowledge but practical training as well. The faculty ensures that monthly and weekly tests are undertaken to monitor the student’s performance. 80% attendance is mandatory for all students. The students get to do six-months clinical training at Regency Hospitals (NABH Accredited).

Clinical Training At Regency Hospital Ltd

Regency Healthcare which started as Regency Hospital was the first Multi-specialty Tertiary Care Corporate Hospital In Uttar Pradesh.

Clinical training is extremely important in nursing as it prepares students to deal with real patients and expand on the knowledge obtained in labs and courses.A strong base in clinical competencies enables healthcare providers to recognise early indications of problems, act quickly in an emergency, and contribute to efficient disease management.Training extends beyond merely performing clinical duties. It enables nurses to perform thorough patient assessments that account for a patient’s physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.

Regency Institute of Nursing provides a six-month's training opportunity to the students at Regency Hospitals which are spread across Kanpur and Other Centers in U.P. comprising of almost 700 beds and 3000+ staff members. Currently we have five Hospitals in Kanpur, one in Lucknow and two additional facilities coming up.
