Diploma in Dialysis Technician

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The applicant should be from Intermediate Science stream, or its equivalent examination conducted by Central or Uttar Pradesh government.
• Must be from subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics
• In case of non-eligibility, the admission of the applicant can be cancelled even after the non-eligibility of the exam. Applicant having less than 40% marks cannot apply.
• The applicant shall be medically fit.
• The applicant shall be admitted once in a year.

First Paper : Syllabus Covers
General Anatomy & Physiology (Cytology, Histology and only basics of all organ system of body).
Only basics of General Pathology, Pharmacology & Microbiology.

Second Paper : Syllabus Covers
Detailed Urology system's Anatomy, Physiology & Histology.
Basics of dialysis technics.
Hand hygiene & prevention of cross infection.
Basic life support (BLS) & Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Upon the successful completion of the diploma program students will be able to use their skills and knowledge to offer safe & effective care to individuals undergoing dialysis. Diploma holders of this program easily attract lucrative jobs in reputed healthcare organizations as dialysis technicians in multi-specialty hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers as well as clinical research organizations.
